With our location in Luxembourg, we now operate from upgraded and more spacious business premises that are both larger and brighter. They provide a separate workspace for visitors, a dedicated meeting room and a new kitchen area – all brand new refurbished. Our colleagues appreciated their involvement in the design process, including decisions on placement of walls, interior windows, and choice of furniture.

IPG acquires a majority stake in the Dutch company Dijkstra Vereenigde, which is another important milestone in terms of international growth.

As a group of companies, GAASCH PACKAGING and its affiliates aim to build a European network of packaging distributors. This results in the acquisitions of minority stakes in the companies Ursan Verpakkingen in The Netherlands and Nova-Pack in Denmark.

GAASCH PACKAGING enters into a strategic alliance with TREFFPACK, and founds EPG Service as a joint-venture. The aim of EPG Service is to hire experts on the key areas of Marketing, Quality Management, Technical Design and Procurement to the benefit of the customers and producers.

IPG acquires a majority stake in Pattesons Glass. With the addition of Pattesons Glass to the family, GAASCH PACKAGING is able to offer unprecedented capabilities in the UK market, including its own storage facilities and flexible delivery options.

The 2nd generation joins the family business. They expand and diversify the sphere of operation, allowing the company to survive during the difficult periods of the great crisis and the world war. The London office is unfortunately closed as WWII begins.

Over the years, ‘Gaasch’ becomes a household name in the Belgian market, associated with excellence and unprecedented customer service. Following the customers, geographic expansion soon follows with the opening of various local branches across Belgium. Other industries mark their interest and the product and service range evolves to include solutions for pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, spirits, food preserves etc.

Jean-Baptiste Gaasch, the ancestor of the current directors, starts the activity of trading of glass bottles for the beer and mineral water industries in Antwerp, Belgium. The business is conducted under the name ‘Verreries J.B. Gaasch’.
